Bryant Hayward

Family Office ~ Venture Investment Division. Deploying capital behind and in partnership with the largest Tier# 1 VC's. He helps build, scale, finance and shape the future of other amazing Startups who are out to change the world for the better. His primary focus is two-fold; Advising and investing in Direct Growth Investments that produce outsized returns on behalf of Multi~Family Offices, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Institutional Banks, Wealth Managers, and Corporate Venture Partnerships.

doug borths

Doug Borths was previously responsible for developing agendas for Opal Financial Group institutional and private wealth events for 14 years. He was also responsible for bringing in Investors, consultants, money managers and other service providers to their events so that they may discuss current challenges going on in the markets. In this position he strive to meet new people in the financial field and provide them a space to network and share information. He consistently built the highest quality agenda possible so that people got the most out of their experience.

robert colorina

Robert Colorina is a Director and sits on a number of portfolio boards at AIAC Group, a holding company of industrial and technology investments with presence in over 20 countries and US states.  Special situation oriented with purchases from multi-nationals and families including  Boeing, EMC, Merrill Lynch Capital, Merck Pharmaceuticals, Siemens AG, Suez Europe, United Technologies.

He is also on the executive committee of Minorities in Restructuring and Alternative Investments, an industry diversity initiative.

He has previously served on Govenor appointed policy boards for the Commonwealth of Virginia (United Nations; Asia - Chair; and State Police) and alumni boards for the University of Virginia where he graduated.

Prior experience includes Bank of America Investment Banking; Keppel Group; Ford Motor Company.

Erica Lill

Erica is a serial entrepreneur and investor with over 25 years of experience. She thrives on assisting companies with all aspects of development, brand positioning, marketing, and investor relations to foster growth and success. Her vast knowledge of real estate and start-ups paired with her network of relationships with family offices and ultra-wealthy families works perfectly with her lifelong enthusiasm for helping businesses achieve their goals, Erica is an impact-driven professional.

At the start of her career Erica created a business in Seattle in her early twenties for adventure luxury travel that targeted high net worth clients. After 10 years, while investing and assisting many other startups, when she sold the first company she pivoted into real estate and craved the creativity of it. Erica also has a passion for impact and green building practices. One of her many successful projects was working with ZeroEnergyAmerica.com on a PBS special focused on building a net zero Street of Dreams quality home in Palm Harbor, Florida. She thrives on wearing many hats including business developer, project manager, coach and overall strategic inspiration.

Erica also has a love for family and for world travel. She is a mother, a grandmother and has a passion for the environment. She was raised in Montana and values finding constant beauty in nature and our surroundings. Globally, Erica is always striving to lift others up in life and in business. She believes in making a positive difference and building companies that have a measurable impact on people’s lives. She thinks this is the key to success and sustainability.

Karen Landry

Karen Landry is an insightful entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience focused on business development, sales, and marketing.  Behind Karen’s success is her proven ability to create and maintain open and responsive relationships. 

Karen is currently a Managing Director at Silver Leaf Partners, an Advisor to Benefunder and Murrieta Genomics, and participates on Dr. Santosh Kesari’s brain trust committee at the John Wayne Cancer Institute.

Earlier in her career, Karen co-founded Brad Peery Capital, an investment advisory firm that managed three limited investment partnerships in the media and communications industry.  As a Principal, Investment Banker, and Syndicate Manager of an affiliated broker-dealer, Brad Peery Inc., Karen established the firm’s investment banking department that participated as an underwriter in over 250 initial public offerings.

Karen received her BS in Applied Economics from the University of San Francisco and holds FINRA license Series 7, 79, and 63 at Silver Leaf Partners.

Nisa Amoils is a general partner at Grasshopper Capital investing in fintech/Blockchain and has been an early stage investor for the past decade at Scout Ventures. She was named one of Business Insider’s Women VC’s to watch and top 100 Women in Fintech, and top 50 global Blockchain thinkers. She is a securities lawyer and on the Boards of several institutions including Wharton Entrepreneurship and Girls Who Invest. She contributes for Forbes and Hosts the Coinscrum Markets show. Prior to investing, she was an entrepreneur and spent many years in business development and strategy at companies like Time Warner, NBC Universal and Anderson Kill. Linda C. Mack

Linda C. Mack is the Founder and President of Mack International, LLC, a boutique firm that specializes in providing retained executive search and strategic human capital consulting services to family office, wealth management and investment industry clients on a national and international basis. Clients include single and multi-client family offices, family enterprises and the full spectrum of professional wealth management advisory and investment management firms.

Kip kolson

Kip Kolson entered the financial services industry in 1967. As Vice President and head of the real estate department at Bank of America's Newport Center office, Kip managed the office’s real estate loan portfolio.He then spent fifteen years in commercial real estate development and management developing office, retail, industrial centers and mixed-use projects. Family Wealth Leadership, which he manages with his son, Kevin, was formed to help families optimize the family’s true wealth by coaching parents and children inhow to invest, build, operate, manage, and work as a team to achieve a worthwhile and common purpose that creates a legacy of significance.

howard cooper

Howard Cooper began his career trading public equities for his own account, becoming a full-time trader in the 1980s. In 2006 Mr. Cooper established a single-family office to manage his family assets, which were derived from his stock trading. His SFO has since then transitioned to global investing, primarily in alternative investments, including hedge and private equity funds as well as direct investments in operating companies.

 

DJ Van Keuren

Named as one of Family Capitals Top Family Office Real Estate Professionals and as one of Trusted Insight’s Top 30 Family Office Real Estate Investors, DJ Van Keuren is a Vice President for a Private Single Family Office. DJ is a member of the Forbes Real Estate Council, author of "Real Estate Investing for Family Offices," founder of The Family Office Real Estate Institute, The Family Office Real Estate Magazine, and is a frequent speaker at family office conferences around the country.

Thomas Handler, J.D. P.C.

Mr. Handler is an advanced planning attorney focused on structuring estate plans, businesses and family offices, and handling taxation & risk management issues for business owners, executives, professional athletes and celebrities. He has extensive experience in the analysis, design and implementation of domestic and international business planning, financial & estate planning, asset protection, family office compliance and advanced tax planning strategies. His experience includes estate contests, tax controversy, tax litigation, public accounting and corporate and foundation directorships.

Wolfgang Daum

Wolfgang Daum, Ph.D. is Managing Partner of Carlyle Global Advisors after a successful career as serial entrepreneur in healthcare. He has developed a network of relationships with accomplished family officesin both the UnitedStates and internationally that share a passion for impact investing and philanthropy in the life sciences and whom he advises from time to time in healthcare related investments. He has successfully helped build and exited from several life science companies to-date principally in the areas of neurological disease, cardiovascular disease and oncology related innovation. Wolfgang holds a M.S. in Physics from Univerity of Gӧttingen and a PhD from Technical University Hamburg-Harburg, both Germany. Wolfgang is also an active angel investor with Keiretsu Forum in Palo Alto, CA.

Andrew schneider

Andrew Schneider founded The Family Office Networks in 2012 after realizing the benefits of a family office network from running his own family office, the Schneider Family Office. His family office greatly benefited from a small community of his peers with whom he shared transactions, service providers and funds. Most recently, he developed the group Global Hedge Fund Advisors. He is the CEO and president of this group, which is an international firm that is quickly making its mark in the hedge fund industry.

Sam Merchant

Sam Merchant is Chairman and President of the Merchants Financial Group. Globally. His wealth of business experience through his years of growing company operations, underwriting many types of financings, and sourcing strategic alliances domestically and internationally is a rich combination.

ArmandO Viteri

Mr. Viteri has been involved with AI since his university days at MIT. Trained as a symbolic AI programmer he was involved with the early formation of such companies as Symbolicsand Thinking Machines. More recently Mr. Viteri has become active in current AI projects but as CEO of Neubloc but also as an active investor and mentor in this space.
